John Latimer joined Astera Labs as the Head of Quality in early 2025. In this role, he works across engineering and business teams to scale quality efforts across products, supply chain, and customer experiences. He has more than 35 years of quality and leadership experience at leading organizations including AMD, Xilinx, Formfactor, Altera, and others. John is a graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz. Outside of work, John enjoys cycling, community volunteering, and mentoring youth with Boy Scouts of America.
