Astera Labs Advances CXL Ecosystem with Multiple Partner Demonstrations at #SC22

Featuring Leo Smart Memory Controllers with 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ Processors and 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Processors

We are excited to join Supercomputing 2022 (SC22) to showcase our innovative product portfolio that helps eliminate performance bottlenecks throughout the data center. This year the spotlight is on our Leo Memory Connectivity Platform – the industry’s first purpose-built CXL platform to support memory expansion, memory pooling and memory sharing.

We invite you to join us at SC22 taking place November 13-18 in Dallas to see live demonstrations of CXL with multiple partners – as we take CXL from promise to reality with real silicon on customer platforms.

You will also be able to meet with our CXL experts to learn how Leo overcomes processor memory bottlenecks and capacity limitations to increase performance and reduce TCO for applications ranging from artificial intelligence and machine learning to in-memory databases.

Where to find Astera Labs at SC22:

  • CXL Consortium Booth 2838: As part of the member company pavilion, we will demonstrate our CXL silicon running real workloads and performance benchmarks. For our two demos, we are showing memory expansion with Leo Smart Memory Controllers and a 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ Processor on a Supermicro platform, and Leo with a 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Processor on a Lenovo platform.
  • Quanta Booth #2238: Astera Labs and Quanta are jointly developing CXL solutions that are ready to be deployed by Cloud Service Providers. Quanta will be demonstrating memory capacity and bandwidth expansion, running real workloads using our Leo Smart Memory Controller on a platform with a 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Processor.
  • Supermicro Booth #1828: We are showcasing our Leo Smart Memory Controller in Supermicro’s high performance, high efficiency server technology supporting CXL. Learn how Leo complements Supermicro’s next-gen platforms to support use cases such as high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, the Metaverse, and beyond.
  • Birds of a Feather (BoF) Session: Sandeep Dattaprasad, Senior Product Manager at Astera Labs, will participate in the CXL BoF “A look into the Compute Express Link Device Ecosystem” where he will present on “CXL ecosystem, demos at Supercomputing 22, and current use cases.” The session will take place November 17 from 12:15pm-1:15pm in Room D167.
