In this Interop Bulletin #5, we will demonstrate how Aries Smart Retimers with 4th Gen AMD EPYC Processor unlocks the potential of multi-accelerator GPU servers, powering popular AI services.
The first demo shows seamless end-to-end PCIe 5.0 interoperation with a 4th Gen AMD EPYC CPU-based platform and a Xilinx Versal Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform, supporting heterogeneous acceleration. The 2nd demo shows a very common PCIe topology with a Broadcom PEX8900 switch and an AMD Instinct MI210. Last, we show an integrated system topology to demonstrate how Aries can extend the PCIe reach across board-to-board connections, PCIe switches, and support robust links to a multi-accelerator tray, to deliver industry leading AI/ML performance.
