Nick brings more than 30 years’ experience in IT and security to his role as VP, IT and CISO at Astera Labs. Prior to Astera Labs, Nick served as Chief Information Security Officer at Zero Hash, Butterfly Network, and Noodle.ai. He also held the position of Chief Security Officer at BMC Software where he was responsible for product security. As Chief Security Architect at McKesson Corporation, Nick led its global security architecture and strategic cybersecurity initiatives. He also served as VP of Software Engineering at Samsung SDS, among other roles.

Nick holds a BBA and MS, and numerous professional certifications, including CISM, CISSP, and Stanford Advanced Security Program.
