CAD Engineer

Responsible for supporting SoC design team with various front end (design verification) and back end (physical design) flows, ensure smooth operation of job scheduler and manage entire IT infrastructure of dynamic ondemand, reserved and spot instances. Additionally, you will also be responsible for managing Astera’s laptop/desktop computers including on-boarding of new users.

Senior Emulation Engineer

Responsible for emulation and prototyping for complex ASICs. The ideal candidate would be at ease bringing up an ASIC to do architectural validation, performance testing within the limits of the target platform, driving SW architectural changes. The candidate must have good knowledge of communication protocols such as PCI-Express (Gen-3 and above), DDR, Ethernet, NVMe, or similar interfaces.

Principal/Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a senior/principal Software Engineer with hands-on experience with x86 low level programming including device drivers, boot-up sequence, and BIOS. The ideal candidate would be at ease architecting and implementing hardware-software interfaces, embedded microcontroller subsystems and driving implementation of low-level firmware on high-speed networking chips. The candidate must have good knowledge of communication protocols such as PCI-Express (Gen-3 and above), DDR, Ethernet, NVMe, or similar interfaces.
